MBO/HBO Internship: Control Purchasing
Developing a model to measure supplier performance in changing economic times
Job description
For our DAF Control Purchasing department we are looking for a work-intern.
You are responsible for developing a model that allows us to measure supplier performance in changing circumstances. How do suppliers anticipate changing economic times? Your tasks are:
- Researching existing models;
- Conducting interviews within the purchasing organization about the model to be developed;
- Developing a model;
- Testing this model.
Your profile
We are looking for an enthusiastic MBO/HBO student who is following a course in the direction of, for example, Business Administration, Business Administration MER, or similar. The number of internship days is negotiable.
- You are following an MBO or HBO course in the direction of administration, Finance & Control, Business Administration MER or similar;
- You are familiar with Excel;
- You are able to deliver your work accurately.
Department
The DAF Purchasing department is part of DAF Trucks and is located in Eindhoven. The department plays a leading role in selecting new suppliers and maintaining contacts with existing suppliers. It works closely with other departments within DAF, such as production and development.
