Job description

For our DAF Control Purchasing department we are looking for a work-intern.
You are responsible for developing a model that allows us to measure supplier performance in changing circumstances. How do suppliers anticipate changing economic times? Your tasks are:

  • Researching existing models;
  • Conducting interviews within the purchasing organization about the model to be developed;
  • Developing a model;
  • Testing this model.

Your profile

We are looking for an enthusiastic MBO/HBO student who is following a course in the direction of, for example, Business Administration, Business Administration MER, or similar. The number of internship days is negotiable.

  • You are following an MBO or HBO course in the direction of administration, Finance & Control, Business Administration MER or similar;
  • You are familiar with Excel;
  • You are able to deliver your work accurately.

Department

The DAF Purchasing department is part of DAF Trucks and is located in Eindhoven. The department plays a leading role in selecting new suppliers and maintaining contacts with existing suppliers. It works closely with other departments within DAF, such as production and development.

Each intern will have the opportunity to participate at the Student Event. During this event you will meet other interns and find out more about DAF/PACCAR!
